Getting to know HIM personally

So many arguments exist about what Christ did on the cross of Calvary, why He did it, If He was capable of doing it etc. Arguments have been made by the best of the best by the most educated and most uneducated people trying to figure out the event that took place on the cross of Calvary. They combine all kinds of logical arguments, intellectual arguments, they collect data from all kinds of sources and draw conclusions.

As great as this is there is only one problem, many do not know Him for themselves. They have not experienced His power, they have not seen His majesty, Apart from the books they read, the articles they write they do not know Him. They know about Him but do not know Him.

They try to argue what His done without a true understanding of who He is. This is a major problem for one can not understand what His done or how He could have done it without understanding who He is. Not understanding or knowing who He truly is obstructs us from fully understanding what He has done on the cross of calvary. We cannot understand what His done without knowing who He is.

Even the best arguments in the entire universe cannot replace the value and opportunity of knowing Him personally. 

GET TO KNOW HIM!

The DEVIL won't KILL you UNLESS you ALLOW him TOO!

Isiah 54 : 17 " No weapon forged against you will prevail and you will refute every tongue that accuses you."

The reason why you still alive today is because the devil couldn't kill you.He attempted to kill me a 100 times, he tried to convince me to kill myself too. He tried a trillion times but he failed  because the most high God is on our side , i want you to say this to yourself right now "That God has my back, and will not fail me"...let me alert you the devil is under your feet don't let him rise above your ankles let alone your knees, let him die there under your feet, remind him of his place "he was defeated by Christ on Cross 2000 year ago"

My brothers and sisters weapon will be forged and formed against you, gossip will be formed against you,depression and oppression will be formed against you,fear,pornography,masturbation and premature death will be forged against you by the enemy ,but they will not prevail nor hinder nor kill u. 

Shadrach,Meshach and Abednego refused to to bow down to king Nebuchadnezzar statue(Daniel 3:18) They stood on their faith in God, and said even if you have formed this fire for us to be thrown into, we refuse to bow down, because we only serve one God who is able to save us, and even if he doesn't save us we still wont bow down. The courage in this young men is so fascinating, basically what they where saying is even though this fire(weapon) is formed against us, it shall not prosper and even if it might we still going to trust in God, now that is relentless faith in God.
We as Christians should know that the devil not leave us without a fight, to bad the battle is not ours but of the lord. 

Weapons my be formed  against you but let it not leave a gap for you to not trust in God. People giving up is not an option because you should know that the Lord is with you, don't give up on your calling ,don't give up on hope , faith , your career , big dreams neither your family,friends and life. Just say this out loud  "I am not giving up, because no weapon formed against me will prosper" - Life and death is in the power of your tongue.

I sometimes ask the Devil to give me his best short, because i know that i may be knocked down but i am not knocked out, Psalm 125 David says "Those who trust in the Lord are like mount Zion which can never be shaken nor moved, as the mountain surrounds Jerusalem so as God surrounds His people"

Then Peter says  in 1 peter 5:9 "stand against him( devil) and be strong in your faith. Don't be afraid of Satan confidently march forward in Christ name expecting to defeat the ploys in the power of the holy spirit.

PRAYER : Father am excited today because the enemy couldn't kill me, you were with me and still with me from my birth until now by your grace and love. You said in your word that you the truth, way and life.You are my way when there is no way to go,you the truth when the devil is lying to me, You are the life when the devil tried to kill me, ooh lord how awesome you are thank you that i am still alive today. May your will be done in my life my family,friend, life and everything that I do by the power of the holy spirit.We are unstoppable , un-containable, untouchable  because no weapon formed against me will prosper....Amen

GOD WILL DO IT IF YOU BELIEVE HIM AND HIS WORD

I have been reading a  book by an Author called Edwin Louis Cole and it really inspired me to write this.


Allow me to share this with you:

Isaiah 55: 10-11 "For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return there until they have watered the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and succeed in the thing for which I sent it.

God and his word remain the same regardless of us, who or what we are, or how we react to crisis. Whatever our state or condition, circumstance, or environment, God and his word are still the same. Because God is faithful to his word, his word will produce the results of his promises. When we apply the Word to our lives, we can expect the results of his promises. 

God’s promises are trustworthy. His word is true and faithful. To trust in that which is not truth is to trust in a lie. We can give ourselves totally to Jesus and completely rely upon his Word because he is trustworthy and whatever you ask by his name is shall be given Jesus will do it for you. 
Our Days and nights are consumed with ‘’our situations’’. At times when we think we are worrying about ourselves, we are really worrying about God. Worries like will God come through for me in this one? I give up, I can’t do anything but pray. I have prayed, and I can’t see any difference. 
Let me tell you brothers and sisters that worry centers on self, Faith centers on God. We look at things from a purely earthly and natural perspective. We don’t realize that when we doubt the outcome after placing it in God’s hands, we are casting the shadow of doubt on Gods character. We must realize that our perspective is not Gods. Ours is based on what we see naturally. We don’t understand as God understands (Isaiah 55: 8-9), which is the reason we must act by faith. For we walk by faith and not by sight. 
God will do it for you if you believe Him and His Word
When we encounter adversity, the spirit of God does not leave, but continues to work within for our highest good. In all negative situations, regardless of the nature or source, God in his faithfulness never Stops working for our good. As the word of God says we know that all that happens to us is working for our good if we love God and are fitting into his plan for us (Romans 8:28).
YOU CAN TRUST GOD. 
YOU CAN TRUST GOD TO DO RIGHT. 
YOU CAN TRUST GOD TO DO RIGHT IN ALL TIMES. 
YOU CAN TRUST GOD TO BE FAITHFUL TO YOU. 
You don’t need to worry about anything he will do it for you, the one who has called you is faithful and will do it.

GET OUT OF THAT PIT AND EXPERIENCE THE PRESENCE OF GOD

There are things we face as young people or young adults that we are quite about. A lot of us are in these pits some of us are heading there to these pits. When I am talking about pits I am talking about a hole in a ground that is used as a trap to catch Animals and Humans. The devil is using this pits to separate us from the love and presence of God. This pits are Alcohol abuse , drug abuse , sex (before marriage), depression and oppression , peer pressure, Masturbation , condemnation , fear ,Pornography and the list goes on. I know as you reading this ,your heart is being squeezed as I mention this things, you are not alone in what you going through. Its often those things we hide that God wants to heal.

Jeremiah cried to God and said God look at my enemies they have dug a pit for me and hidden traps for me.The devil is a liar you getting out of that pit because no weapon formed against you will prevail. Psychologist say the first step to recovery is acceptance, you God to accept that you are in a condition and you need help.  I need you to say this words "Lord i am in the pit(mention your put) and i need your help " . The word of the Lord says "call unto me in days of your trouble and I will give you rest"

lets look at this amazing story and learn from it:


Luke 15 : 11-12 and 20-22

In short the book of Luke presents Jesus as the rescuer of all who are lost , he came from God to seek and save those who are lost.

The story in Luke 15:11 -The where two sons the older one and the younger one ,and the younger one asked his inheritance from his father, because the father is faithful and just he just gave him his inheritance and the young son went far away from Home, he spend everything in the wild living until a famine took place in that area. His money was finish and he came back to his senses(That is the short version)
Many of us are like this young son : we have departed from the love of God because of our selfish ambitions, he was after the hand of God and not the heart of God , and that reminds me of us, he wasted his life and wealth in wild living(we are busy wasting are lives in pits of sins)

See the devil is not the respecter of man Satan does like you period, he want to see us dead, destroyed and away from the love of the father. The devil want you and i to have guilt and question ourselves on how God is gonna forgive you  and the reason why he(devil) is doing this is because he knows that guilt condemns and conviction transforms you. As we look at verse 20 the bible says the young son came to his senses , conviction started into his mind and transformation took place by taking a step to Go back to his father.
When he left the father he said Give me but now when he comes back to his senses his says make me.(I remember a song by an artist called Tonex  "make me over").See there is nothing to hard for God , he can make you over again get out of that pit come to your senses God has promised life and this life is in abundance.

See the father's reaction towards his son return : the father was waiting, and  when he saw his young son return a Lamb was sacrifice that is a sign of one being redeemed because a lamb was killed,the father was eagerly waiting for his son return that when he saw him he ran to him. God is ready to wash you in the blood of His son, ready to forgive you from all your infirmity .The son was welcomed back into the house he had to be given back what he did not deserve, the robes, the ring and sandals His Grace is looks beyond your sins , Gods Grace is sufficient enough to sustain you, to keep you and to rewrite your life again.

He was now in the presence of God back to the fathers house, see when your back into the presence of God. The devil start to shake or nerves .When you are in the presence there is fullness of Joy, peace, sound mind and life. Psalm 125 "those who trust in the lord are like mount Zion which can never be shaken nor move .Come to your sense, you have been into that Pit for too long its time to confess your sins unto the lord ask for forgiveness, ask Him to make you all over again,the is no sin God can not forgive .He says cast all your burdens unto him because he cares for you.

2 Chronicles 7:14 "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land"

BUT I AM PRAYING HARD,WHY IS GOD NOT ANSWERING ME?

"BUT I AM PRAYING HARD, WHY IS GOD NOT ANSWERING ME?"

I always preached against the phrase "praying Hard" , but i just realized that actually God want us to "pray Hard". Reason for my preaching against the phrase was because i did not not believe that God wants us to pray hard because people would be praying hard but at the end of the day they would say "i am praying hard , But why is God not aswering me?" so i would say God doesnt want you to pray hard but God want you to pray thats all,,,but i was wrong!

     God really wants you to pray Hard , but the reason why God is not answering your prayers is not because your not praying hard. See we have made prayer a monologue(single person speaking) priniciple  than a dialogue(conversation between two people) principle, we speak to God and we leave after speaking to Him. The problem guys is not in the praying hard the problem is in the Listening. We do not Listen to Him, we do not listen to what He says when we pray unto Him.

     The reason why many of us miss the miracle (ANSWER) is that we are not listening. The easy part of prayer is talking. Its much harder listening to that still small voice of the Holy Spirit. The Bible tells us in the book of James 5 :17 "Elija was a human as we are , and yet when he prayed earnestly that no rain would fall, none fell for three days and a half......" praying earnestly literally means "praying with a prayer" . Its more than words. It means acting on your prayers because you expect and answer. Now how can you act on your prayer if you did not listen to what God is saying concerning your prayer ?

    Guys one reason many of us never get an answer to our hard prayers is that all we do is pray - we dont listen!!! You just cant pray like Elijah; you have to act like Elijah-Listening to God, listening to what the master is saying concerning your prayer.

THAT MIRACLE(ANSWER) YOU NEED IS NOT IN THE PRAYING HARD ITS IN THE LISTENING

God sees what everybody ignores in me!

1 Samuel 16 : 7-But the lord said to Samuel do not consider his appearance or his height,for I have rejected him.The lord does not look at the things man looks at,the lord looks at the heart.

God sees what everybody ignores in me!

Here we read a story were the Israelite's wanted a king,God send Samuel to the home of Jesse( 1 Samuel 16:1),when Jesse heard why Samuel was there,he dressed up his sons,they had handsome one,the tall one,the curly haired one,the strong one one,the muscular one all this sons of Jesse twirled out before Samuel,from the greatest to the least...

Jesse presented all his sons to Samuel so that Samuel may choose an anoint them,but the lord said NO to all of them, he said i am sorry none of these are Gods choice for kingly position.Do YOU Have other sons ?(1 Samuel 16 :11)

Jesse said ooh yes, well no I just remember I do have a little boy,my younger son he just a little runt who's out to take care of sheep.He is not dressed up like my sons nor he smells good like my sons,he is smelly.

But Samuel said bring him when the boy came he said I think I have found the guy i am looking for..(Notice that God chose the son who was out working ,he was busy.)Most people are like Jesse they look but don't see you, your probably that black sheep in your family in your church, but God sees you beyond what others  are seeing in you.God is not looking at your degree,clothes your car or your outer appearance but he looks at the heart. When people say you a nobody, that you are zero, a lot of us started to believe that, the devil is a lair.God sees things deep within you that others can't see

Are you not sick and tired of hearing people saying that you are a nobody? God looked at Adam and saw the world,looked at Abraham and saw nations,in Jacob a deceiver he saw a messiah,in Moses the murderer,God saw a deliverer ,oh I wonder what God sees in you.He said i alone know the plans I have for you (Jeremiah 29 :1)him alone sees beyond what you can image of yourself. God saw a king in a shepherd boy(David).

See people may call you name,the may say you smelly ,they may say you don't have a life with this Jesus but let me tell u something God sees things that everybody else ignores,he sees a brighter future,he sees an ambitious person in you,he sees a golden somebody in you, he sees greatness, love, light, hope in you, yes you!..you are blessed, covered, favored by the most high God, you are somebody in Him.

PRAYER : father people may have looked down on me,called me names and pitied me and lord all hey have said about me i believed ,but father today i know that you see in me what everybody else ignored and ignores in me,the pharisees saw Jesus as nothing,when he died on the cross they thought that it was over with him,father my enemies thinks that way of me me to  BUT Jesus resurrected on the third day he was seated on the right side of God, lord i am raisin just like my savior raised, the same power that raised Christ from the the dead lives in me too, i am a somebody in Christ, speak through me and in me in what ever that i do for you and other,, Lord thank you, Amen!

THE SUN ALWAYS SHINES

Greetings in the name of Jesus,i was just reading a book in my morning devotion , and Pastor H said "people are in need of prayers" and God just laid this in my spirit ,as I was reading my devotional Book. 

"THE SUN ALWAYS SHINES"

For now, remember that regardless of how dark things may appear to us here on earth, above the clouds the sun is always shining. We know that no matter how dark the clouds, how high the waves, or how strong the winds, above it all the sun always shines, though we may not see the sun with our natural eyes, yet we know beyond any shadow of doubt that it is there because we still can feel the Heat! Praise God.

The same holds true in the realm of the spirit. Weather affects people, but it doesn't affect the sun. Neither do circumstances affect the word of God. We don't praise God for the adverse physical circumstances in life, but we do thank and praise him in them, knowing that above it all God is there working for our good... Just SHOUT God is working for my Good(there  is power in your tongue). Faith lays hold of the truth , and truth will always bring freedom.

Know this well - God is for you.
- God is with you.
- God is in you.
Of this the three, the greatest knowledge to grasp is that God is in you, both to will and to do of his good pleasure(john 8: 32)
His promise is that he will withhold no good thing from those who walk uprightly before him. The darker the night-the brighter the light. Praise God.. Its doesn't matter what situation your in right now God is with you and he will see you through. Regardless of how thick the cloud may be or how violent the storm, the sun is always shining above it all. God's love is always shining bright for you. Submit yourself to him and to his for your life, and see where he will take you next!

Let's agree in prayer right NOW.
(Find a secret place you can pray this prayer)

" Father, in the name of jesus my lord , I confess that at this moment you are working for my Good. Right now I want to receive these truth into my mind and heart, to walk in them, to trust you to bring me to the place that will bring glory to your Name. You are taking me our,that you might bring me in I submit myself to your care and keeping.
" You are a creative God. I trust you both to create in me a clean heart and create a better place for me to live. I forgive others and release myself into your hands. Thank you for what you are doing in my life, I give you all the glory and honor in Jesus Name. Amen."
